Dr. Elena Georgievskaya received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the First Moscow Medical University in Russia in 1983. She trained in Anesthesiology at the Russian National Research Center of Surgery where she worked as a physician-scientist on computerized EEG monitoring during open heart surgery. In 1997, she moved to the United Kingdom, where she successfully prepared for the United States Medical Licensing Examinations. After the birth of her son, Dr. Georgievskaya made a fateful decision and completed the Family Medicine residency program at Drexel University (MCP/Hanneman) in 2005. Since 2011, her professional life has been deeply intertwined with Ohio Valley Hospital in McKees Rocks, PA. Her private office of Ohio Valley Independent Primary Care opened its doors to her faithful patient base in March of 2025.
